ACADEMIC PROFILE OF THE CLASS OF 2017
Statistics of the Class of 2017 are based on ten students.
The grading scale is 0-100, with 60 the minimum passing mark.
A traditional 4.0 scale is provided to assist colleges in the assessment of Victory students.
A distribution of marks within each course is provided on the transcript.
Victory’s graduates are achieving success and distinction in the classroom, on the athletic field, in their organizations
and clubs, and at their places of worship and employment.

Victory Christian does not rank its students.

American College Test (ACT) – Average Class Composite Score
All seniors are required to take the ACT before graduation
Victory’s average ACT score over the last seventeen years is 22.8

National Merit Semi-Finalists
Over four percent of Victory’s graduates have been National Merit Students over the last seventeen years.

High School Grade Point Average (GPA) is calculated on all classes taken at Victory

2011

3 students achieved a 2.86 average

2012

4 students achieved a 3.53 average

2013

11 students achieved a 3.34 average
2014

8 students achieved a 3.47 average

2015

8 students achieved a 3.35 average

2016

17 students achieved a 3.43 average

10 students achieved a 3.42 average

ADVANCED PLACEMENT EXAMINATIONS
Although Victory does not teach any Advanced Placement curriculum, the school offers AP testing to any student
who desires to pursue excellence in this area.
Since May of 2000, fifty out of one hundred and forty-two graduates (36%) have written eighty advanced
placement examinations. Students have received a three or higher on forty-one of the eighty exams (51%)
written. Thirty-three percent of all Victory graduates since 2000 have received a three or higher without taking an
Advanced Placement class.

COLLEGE ENTRANCE
Most Victory graduates enroll in four-year colleges immediately after graduation.
